The Matriarch of the Tillmaroon family.

Cheri has had ten children before HERO and two twin girls after him.  All of her children have grown into strong and courageous individuals and have each left the Tillmar Valley to find adventure and fortune.

Brock

HERO'S Older Brother

Brock is HERO's older brother.

When he was born, it was predicted that he would grow to be 'as big as a house and as strong as a rock'.  Hence the name 'Brock'.

Missy and May

HERO'S Little twin Sister

Mischief (Missy) and Mayhem (May) are HERO's younger twin sisters.

When they were born, it was predicted that they would live a life of Mischief and Mayhem... Hence their names.  Their mother nicked named them 'Missy' and 'May' so as not to frighten anyone away who first meets them.

Granny Ora

Granny Ora is a blind old beaver who has the girt of second sight. She has helped Cheri name each of her children by predicting what kind of life they will live.

UNCLE QUINCY

Uncle Quincy is Pudge's Uncle (by marriage) and a Large Brown Owl.

Uncle Quincy was at the Ashmore Tree helping HERO's father and the other farmers with the Spring harvest.

The Ashmore Tree is the first destination of HERO and Pudge when they left the Tillmar Valley and set forth on their epic journey.
