Yeah May 6th, 2017!! Free Comic Book Day!

Today is the annual Comic Book Collectors Holiday!  Free Comic Book Day!  Check out your local Comic book Store and see what goodies they have available.  Sales!  Sales! Sales! Oh, and don't forget Free Comics!! 

Misfit Corner Comics and Andrew Charipar will have a table set up at Borderlands Comics and Games starting at 11 am today.  I will be doing limited free sketches and selling copies of HERO Book One (plus free sketches). Bring the kids! Come in and see what's in store!

What a FANTASTIC year so far

So far this year we have done 5 conventions (Aurburndale City Con, Infinity Toy and Comic Con, Collective Con, Steel City Con and Florida SuperCon Retro) and have had a BLAST at all of them.  It is incredible to meet so many comic fans and to share my art and HERO with them.  Thank you all!

Our Next show is the Daytona Beach Comic Con on April 23rd and I can't wait to see more comic fans there.  If you are in the area, come by and check it out and look for me and HERO.  Our next three shows are three Big Ones... The 4 day Mega Con in Orlando, FL on May 25th - 28th, Heroes Con in Charlotte, NC June 16th - 18th and then the Florida SuperCon in Fort Lauderdale, FL on July 27th - 30th.  We have already started making plans for conventions for the 2nd have of the year and will keep you all posted when they are confirmed.  Whoo Hoo!

 We have had a few minor family related setbacks in the past few weeks (we moved twice in less than 3 months) but things are getting back to normal and more HERO is coming.  Last night I got a few hours of quiet and worked on some background for page 60 of HERO Book Two (60!!).  I also recently received the edits for Chapter 8 from my Editor and will be working on those very, very soon as well.  Moving forward.

We are still on schedule to have HERO Book Two done by October with the launch of our second Kickstarter then, so stay tuned.

Welcome to Misfit Corner Comics

Hello Everyone.  Welcome to the new Misfit Corner Comics Website.  Whoo Hoo!

First off, this is a 'work in progress' and we will be adding new features, products and special offers daily, so check back with us often.

Just to tell you a little about us and what we want to do here...

For the last 23 years, I have worked in corporate America at a regular 9 to 5 day job.  Earlier this year, the company let me know that my position was no longer necessary and I was offered a severance package and graciously shown the door.  With this once in a life time opportunity, I have decided to make a dream come true... Opening my very own Comic Book Store!

As a comic book fan for most of my life, it has always been a life long dream to not only open a store but to do it with my children.  So, with my son standing beside me... It has begun!

As of today, we are working very hard to secure our first location here in Jacksonville Florida and should have an official announcement very soon.  In the meantime, we have begun work on the Misfit Corner Comics website.
